to "Meeting Lilias" and "Already Gone" by Sleeping At Last

Wanted to write a poem, but wasn't sure I liked how this one turned out.  Too vague in some parts, and too raw in others.  To me as the writer, it seems very un-put-together.

    1. Thanks, Vanessa! I'm really glad—I was hesitating about posting it which is why I scheduled it way back here in April in poetry xD But it's good to know you liked it. Thank you! <3

  3. poetry holds a special place in my heart because i've always held it with shaky trembling hands who cannot do it justice. i'm not a pro. but with these years, God has molded and refined me to be braver and glorify Him. *laughs* keep writing, Sophia. you'll grow.
loved this poem. sparks a little something in my heart.

  4. I, personally, love the so called "un-put-togetherness" of this.
I think its perfect and beautiful the way it is, like uncut diamond. Worth so much, but only precious to those who understand what lies underneath.
And I think I do, maybe not in detail, but I understand the feeling the lays hidden behind these words.
"They don't know when they say those things how deep they cut" <<< THAT. RIGHT THERE. I JUST CAN'T HANDLE HOW TRUE THAT IS.
There's something raw and deep and real in this poem just waiting to be grasped.
And I can't quite reach it.
